Dr. Sid Lisser and Dr. Chris Oswald co-founded the Jaw & Facial Pain Centre at Yonge and St. Clair in 2002.
The centre is recognized for its excellence in conservative manual rehabilitation and advanced evaluation of musculoskeletal-oral and facial conditions.
Dr. Lisser, the lead clinician with 20 years of experience treating jaw and facial pain, is appointed in the department of dentistry at Mount Sinai, and lectures at the University of Toronto School of Dentistry. The Jaw & Facial Pain Centre has a team of 10 multi-disciplinary practitioners and see approximately 200 new patient referrals a month.
Currently, we are offering a continuing education program to train with Dr. Lisser and our team. This unique offering will result in our new OFPc-T (Oral Facial Pain certified - Therapist) certification. The training required to acquire this certification will make you comfortable in accurate differential diagnosis and when appropriate, treatment of jaw and facial pain. The certification will fill the large voids left from your professional education.
