CERTIFICATION
Dr. Sid Lisser and Dr. Chris Oswald established the Jaw & Facial Pain Centre at Yonge and St. Clair in 2002.

The centre is recognized for its excellence in conservative rehabilitation and is affiliated with the Mount Sinai Chronic Craniofacial Pain Clinic in Toronto - the first and only designation to an offsite clinic.
Dr. Lisser, the lead clinician with 20 years of experience treating jaw and facial pain, is appointed in the department of dentistry at Mount Sinai, and lectures at the University of Toronto School of Dentistry. The Jaw & Facial Pain Centre has a team of 10 multi-disciplinary practitioners and see approximately 120 new patient referrals a month.
Currently, we are offering a continuing education program to train with Dr. Lisser and our team. This unique offering will result in our new OFPc-T (Oral Facial Pain certified - Therapist) certification. The training required to acquire this certification will make you comfortable in accurate diagnosis and when appropriate, treatment of jaw and facial pain. The certification will fill the large voids left from your professional education.

In addition, you will be added to a registry for easy access from dental and medical professionals, so they will know who has been trained at a competency approved by the Jaw & Facial Pain Centre. You will also have access to our referrals when patients are brought to our centre. If distance is an issue, you will also have access to our team in person and virtually for complicated patients or questions. Ongoing education and training will be included and required to remain part of the registry.
